Skift Take: The coronavirus panic is already proving a disaster for travel companies, and the climate probably will worsen before it improves. The public, however, has little sympathy for a few segments of the industry, including airlines. Consumers may not react well if airlines get a perceived bailout so quickly. The White House may want to wait until airlines feel more pain before stepping in.
